Responsibilities
- Managing the product lifecycle, from high-level planning to post-launch
- Planning the schedule and scope of product releases (the “what” and “when”)
- Collaborating with engineering on release planning for the “who” and “how”
- Maintaining alignment with company goals (revenue, customer satisfaction, commitments, etc.)
- Collecting requirements from customers and internal stakeholders
- Creating PRDs with Use Cases and User Stories, and collaborating with developers and QA on the details
- Supporting marketing in their launch efforts
- Performing triage on bugs and enhancement requests
- Supporting strategic partners as needed
Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success of launching cloud-based or mobile products.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc) and development languages such as HTML 5, CSS, etc
- Experience in Agile development methodology
- Certification in Pragmatic Marketing or 280 Group a plus
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Position: Professional Services Technical Architect
Location: San Mateo, CA
|

As a Selectica Professional Services Technical Architect, you will work with Selectica customers to implement the Selectica Contract Management Platform. You will meet with existing and new clients to understand their needs, create project plans, help prepare implementation cost estimates, and manage client installations. You will become proficient in defining and implementing custom business processes, workflows, contract templates, and integrations. Your key responsibility will be to understand customer requirements and design and implement efficient and scalable solutions. You will perform installation, configuration, and customization of the Selectica system. You will report on implementation progress to the Professional Services manager and the client. Integrations will require you to have a familiarity with various Selectica APIs. In addition, you will conduct user, technical and administrator training to Selectica customers on Selectica’s Contract Lifecycle Management. This will require you to have excellent communication skills and ability to understand and engage your audience.
You will also direct the activities of Configuration Engineers, mostly based offshore. Off-hours work is required on some assignments.
In completing your assignments, you must be able to work with our clients and have good client management skills. You must also have strong application development and integration skills. You must be able to work as a part of a team, on multiple projects simultaneously, and be able to consistently meet milestone dates and deliverables requirements. Some travel will be required.
Experience and Skill Requirements
Required
- BA/BS required; an emphasis in Computer Science or equivalent a plus, with an MS Computer Science preferred.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong client management skills, and a history of managing client implementations.
- Minimum 6 years technical consulting experience.
- Demonstrated competency of XSLT and XPATH, Strong Experience with Server side JavaScripting.
- Clear understanding of XML, schemas
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming, with proficiency in Java programming. Experience with J2EE technology components like JSP, Servlets, XML, Web Services is required.
- Strong in Oracle database concepts and SQL and PL/SQL programming.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting in customer implementations of Selectica’s contract management software solution. The position is with Selectica’s Professional Sevices and typically works on projects under the direction of the Implementation Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting requirements workshops and other requirements gathering sessions
- Documenting requirements in a Business Requirements Document
- Research and develop project materials including training materials, testing materials, project plans, project reports, and other materials as required
- Conduct select configuration activities as may be appropriate
- Participate in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required
Qualification/experience required:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience conducting similar activities for enterprise-level projects for a software company (ECM, CLM, SCM or ERP)

Position: IT Systems Administrator

As a member our IT Operations Team, the Systems Administrator will focus on maintaining and supporting Selectica’s 24x7 Hosting Operation and Application in our San Mateo office. This highly visible position will report directly to the Director of IT.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 24/7 Data Center SaaS Operations built on Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Database platform
- Work closely with engineering, Professional Service, and internal team in supporting new features and services
- Monitor site stability and performance, a focus on customer service in a real-time production environment including an awareness of and commitment to application SLA's and deadlines.
- You will manage, implement, and continuously improve process and tools for diagnostics, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution related to hosting infrastructure, technical stack, and applications. Scale infrastructure to meet demand.
- Plan and lead OS patching, application upgrades, and change management activities, troubleshoot site issues, develop custom tools and scripts for automation
- Document system design, and develop processes and procedures for hosting operation
- Help define, improve and promote architecture and standards based on ITIL "best practices".
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in Redhat Linux systems administration (5+years), web servers, load balancers, SAN storage (EMC), network and host security, and relevant protocols (SMTP, HTTP,SSL, DNS, NFS)
- 4+ year's hands-on experience supporting Java based web applications installing, managing, and supporting production sites in a hosted environment
- 4+ years hands-on experience with application (Tomcat, Weblogic) and Database server (Oracle Database) configuration, monitoring, trending, network design, high availability, including clustering and load balancing.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and learn new application technologies
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery
- Extensive experience automating tasks with common scripting language
