Allen Pogorzelski

Vice President of Marketing

Allen Pogorzelski has over 15 years of experience in sales and marketing at rapidly growing enterprise software companies.  Prior to joining Selectica, Mr. Pogorzelski was Director of Marketing at DemandTec, where he was responsible for product marketing for the company’s price optimization, promotion management, and deal management solutions.  Before that, as Director Marketing at Emptoris, a supply management software company, he defined and led the company’s demand generation strategies.  Mr. Pogorzelski was also a Director of Marketing at diCarta, a contract management solutions pioneer that was acquired by Emptoris.  At diCarta, he was responsible for demand generation, product marketing, PR, and analyst relations.  Allen Pogorzelski has also held marketing and sales roles in CRM and business intelligence at Siebel, Oracle, and IRI Software.

Allen Pogorzelski holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
