Pravil Gupta, Ph.D.

Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Sales Configuration Solutions

Pravil Gupta is Selectica’s Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of the Sales Configuration Solutions Business Unit. With more than thirteen years of industry experience in the design, development, and delivery of complex high-performance enterprise software, Mr. Gupta is responsible for Selectica’s configuration and pricing technology. Before joining Selectica he was part of the founding team of six engineers at Get2Chip, Inc., an electronic design automation (EDA) firm which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems in April 2003 for more than $100 million. Before that, Mr. Gupta worked as member of the consulting staff at Cadence Design Systems. He also served as  a Senior Engineer at Compass Design Automation.

Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India, a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering, and a Doctoral degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California.
