Jason Stern
Chief Executive Officer and President

Mr. Stern is the Chief Executive Officer and President at Selectica, Inc (NASDAQ: SLTC), where he is responsible for sales, marketing, alliances, products, and services.  At Selectica, Mr. Stern has lead a business that achieved revenue growth exceeding 500%, established the company as an identified market leader by the top industry analysts, and spearheaded a strategic go-to-market relationship with EMC. Prior to joining Selectica in November of 2006, Mr. Stern was the Vice President of Product Management at iMANY, where he was responsible for the product direction of both the Contract Management and Revenue Commitment Management product suites.  While at iMANY, Mr. Stern led the release of a new framework and worked closely with EMC as a technology partner. With more than 13 years of experience in Enterprise Software Product Management, Mr. Stern also spent four years at Oracle managing products for CRM, Call Center, and Finance.

Mr. Stern holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Todd Spartz
Chief Financial Officer

With over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting at both large and mid-market technology companies, Todd Spartz brings a wealth of knowledge to Selectica. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Nomis Solutions, a rapidly growing provider of pricing and profitability management solutions for financial services companies. Prior to that, Mr. Spartz was Vice President and Corporate Controller at Openwave Systems (NASDAQ:OPWV), where he successfully managed the finances of this multimillion dollar, global organization. Before that, Todd was Vice President of Finance with Metareward; a subsidiary of Experian (LSE:EXPN.L), focused on online customer acquisition programs for top brand advertisers. Rounding out Mr. Spartz’s extensive experience in financial operations, planning, and accounting are his previous roles with technology leaders Oblix, acquired by Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL), Extreme Networks (NASDAQ:EXTR), Aspect Telecommunications (formerly NASDAQ:ASPT), and Applied Materials (NASDAQ:AMAT).

Todd earned a BS in Accounting from the College of Commerce at DePaul University and holds an MBA in Finance from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. He is also a licensed CPA in California.

Kamal Ahluwalia
Chief Strategy Officer

Kamal Ahluwalia is the Chief Strategy Officer at Selectica, where he is responsible for spearheading Selectica’s efforts in delivering cloud-based solutions that leverage analytics and collaboration to improve customer productivity. Mr. Ahluwalia joined Selectica in 2011, and brings over twenty years of experience in business success with a range of innovative technologies in global markets. Previously, Mr. Ahluwalia served as VP of Marketing and Business Development at Selectica, and held leadership positions at Oracle, Apple, RadioMail, Model N and Neev Labs.

Doug Bell
Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, Doug Bell is responsible for developing and executing key sales and marketing initiatives, particularly those relating to the development of new markets, the scaling of organizations in high-growth markets, and the transformation to an increasingly cloud-focused company. Mr. Bell brings to the company extensive experience in strategic planning, channel program development, and marketing of cloud-based solutions. Prior to joining Selectica, Mr. Bell led marketing, business development, and inside sales as Vice President of Marketing and Alliances at Arena Solutions, served as Senior Product and Marketing Manager- Invoice and Network Services On-Demand at Ariba, and was Director of Product Marketing at I-many. Bell’s new position at Selectica marks his homecoming, as he previously served as the company’s Vice President of Marketing.

Mr. Bell has also held management positions at Cisco, Coca-Cola, and GE Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Drexel University.

Steven Gans
Chief Technology Officer

As Selectica’s Chief Technology Officer, Steven Gans is responsible for the company’s overall technical strategy and roadmap. He brings to the company 18 years of experience designing and building software, with extensive expertise in high-availability 7x24 systems, large-scale enterprise application performance and tuning, and distributed heterogeneous data and metadata management. Prior to joining Selectica, Mr. Gans was Chief Architect at Saba Corporation, where he was responsible for the company’s J2EE technology platform for Learning, Performance, Talent, Collaboration and Content Management. Before that, he was an Architect at Epiphany, Inc. (now part of Infor Global Solutions), where he helped design the company’s next-generation architecture for outbound marketing and real-time, self-learning data mining products. His previous experience includes management roles at Allstate and Oracle. Mr. Gans also holds several U.S. patents.

Steven Gans earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Leonard Rainow
Chief Operating Officer

As Selectica’s Chief Operating Officer, Leonard Rainow oversees all business operations in Engineering, Support, and Professional Services. Rainow brings to the company over two decades of experience in enterprise software. Most recently, he served at Oracle Corporation as Group Vice President of Product Development and Technology for the Tax and Utilities Global Business Unit, where he led a team of over 500 product development professionals around the world. Prior to that, Mr. Rainow was Executive Vice President of Products and Engineering at Rapt, Inc., a provider of advertising yield management and media monetization solutions that was acquired by Microsoft. Before that, Mr. Rainow was Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Products at iMANY.

Mr. Rainow has also held management positions at Manugistics and Peoplesoft. Mr. Rainow earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Odessa, Ukraine.

Rajesh Kamat
Vice President, Professional Services Tech Operations

Rajesh Kamat is Vice President of Professional Services Tech Operations at Selectica where he is responsible for managing professional services for the Configuire Price Quote (CPQ) product line. Mr. Kamat joined Selectica in 2000. With 19 years of experience in engineering and professional services, in both the U.S. and India, Mr. Kamat has worked with Zensar Technologies, Blue Star, Boston Management Consultants, and Mafatlal Consultancy Services.

Mr Kamat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Bombay.

Jim Bleakley
Vice President, Worldwide Channel Sales and Alliances

As Vice President, Worldwide Channel Sales and Alliances, Jim Bleakley provides partner strategy and drives channel sales for Selectica. Mr. Bleakley brings to the company over 15 years of experience in enterprise software. Prior to joining Selectica, Mr. Bleakley was a Senior Director at SAP in the Solution Ecosystem and Partner Group. He rejoined SAP via Frictionless Commerce, where Mr. Bleakley was responsible for all Partner and Channel revenue that led to the SAP acquisition. Prior to Frictionless/SAP, Mr. Bleakley held numerous partner strategy and product management roles at iMany, SAP, and Kellogg’s. At SAP, Mr. Bleakley wrote the business case for Trade Promotion Management and at Kellogg’s he was a Brand Manager on Eggo Waffles.

Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.

Jennifer Bomze
Vice President of Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing, Jennifer Bomze oversees all corporate, product and online marketing, including branding, awareness, pipeline development, field events and customer programs. Drawing on her extensive experience marketing cloud-based software solutions, she’s focused on bringing Selectica solutions to new markets while ensuring that customers and other stakeholders get the most out of their Selectica experience. Before joining Selectica, Bomze served as Senior Director of Marketing at Arena Solutions, where her most recent focus on social media, content marketing, and customer and community programs capped off a decade-long tenure that included oversight of all major marketing functions along the way. As the founding member of the department at Arena, she was pivotal in building out the company’s marketing organization and defining its brand.

Previously, Bomze held marketing roles in a number of non-profit, agency and corporate organizations, where her work focused primarily on engaging and involving consumer audiences.

Bomze holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree in American Civilization from Brown University.

Joe Lipple
Vice President of Product Management

As vice president of product management, Joe Lipple provides strategic product direction and sets the product roadmap at Selectica. Prior to joining Selectica, Joe led the product management organization at Arena Solutions, an on-demand software company providing product lifecycle management solutions to small and midsize manufacturers. Before that, he held product marketing leadership roles at Arena Solutions, Selectica and Ariba, and project management, IT and engineering roles at Bechtel.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, along with a minor in Spanish.

Leo Sigal
Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Leo Sigal oversees all software engineering functions at Selectica, including research, development, quality engineering, and sustaining engineering. He previously served as both Director of Quality Engineering and Head of Engineering at Selectica. Prior to joining Selectica, Mr. Sigal led quality engineering efforts for the Process Applications group at Software AG, and was one of the first employees at Evite, where he was involved in a variety of technical functions including QA, IT, and Operations.

Mr. Sigal holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from The National Technical University of Ukraine.

Rob Milks
Director of Sales

As Director of Sales, Rob Milks is responsible for managing the Selectica field sales team, spearheading sales initiatives for the company’s sales configuration and guided selling products, and ensuring that customers master their Selectica solutions. In an earlier stint as the company’s Vice President of Sales -Global Markets, Milks significantly expanded the list of companies getting value from the Selectica Sales Configurator and helped propel Selectica to one of the largest IPOs in NASDAQ history. In addition to his work at Selectica, Milks has also managed strategic accounts at Progress Software and has led sales in vice president roles at several companies, including AXS-One, ConnectBeam, and Intertech Information Management.

Milks holds a degree in Business and Computer Science from Daytona State College.
