Implementation Manager

Selectica is seeking a skilled and motivated Implementation Manager who will be an integral member of our Professional Services Team and will drive client implementations of our software solutions and perform in a cross-functional environment. The Implementation Manager works closely with Sales, Engineering, and offshore teams to help define project scope, identify and improve processes related to our software, and coordinate
activities with offshore and local resources to facilitate implementations on schedule and within project budgets.  This person will also work closely with external parties such as contractors and partners.

This position is located in San Mateo, CA (preferable).


  • Coordinates multiple projects involving one or more functions such as driving projects through an entire lifecycle from requirements definition, configuration, internal testing, UAT, client training, implementation, and transition to support
  • Develops support requirements for assigned projects, including budgets and resource allocation plans, in accordance with our provided framework, methodologies, and
  • Facilitates project activities such as creating project plans, tracking progress against
    established plans (internal and client), reporting results, and making recommendations for alterations and/or updates as required
  • Develops client communications, including creating status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, budgeting , scoping, coordinating stakeholder meetings, and updating project plans
  • Leads offshore and local resources across multiple projects
  • Attends weekly internal and customer meetings as required
  • Participates in pre-sales activities and internal initiatives as required
  • Travel up to 25% - 40% of time is expected

Qualification/ experience required

  • 3+ years of project management experience with 3+ full-lifecycle projects as a project manager
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with project management software and productivity tools
  • Proven track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate milestones and deliverables - both verbally and in writing - to all levels of team members and clients
  • Strong quantitative analytical abilities
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in an ambiguous and/or changing

Qualification/ experience preferred

  • Familiarity with the field of CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management)
  • Experience in Change Management or Project Management services/ PMP
  • Base Location: Bay Area Preferred
